Do I need prior knowledge to take this course?

No, you do not need ANY prior knowledge to take this course. Your tutor, Joey, will take you through everything you need to know to pass the ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exam, ranging from basic principles to some of the more advanced music theory concepts required for the exam. .

Is this course suitable for all ages?

Music theory has no age limit! We have helped students aged 7 to 70 pass their grade 5 music theory exam. For younger learners you may want to consider supporting their learning e.g. by helping to print out worksheets and navigate their online learning dashboard.

Do you have extra practice resources available?

Additional practice paper & worksheet bundles are available to download from our online store if you want more practice.

Why do I need ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory?

A Pass at Grade 5 Music Theory is required for ABRSM exams in order for you to move onto your higher practical and preformance grades in your chosen instrument (grades 6-8 and beyond).

What's the difference between the two subscriptions?

Both subscriptions provide the same materials; the only difference is the billing cycle. The monthly subscription charges every month, while the 6-month subscription charges every 6 months. For those planning to take the exam in 4-6 months, the 6-month option offers better value. You can cancel either subscription anytime from your account settings, or emailing yourmusictheorycoach@gmail.com

How do I cancel my subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time via your account. Please make sure to do this 24hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged. Alternatively, you can send Joey a message inside the course.
